Box story first installment

Well, I am making some boxes.  With scenes in them.  The story of how this started I guess will come later.  Today, I am posting about plaster.  It turns out that I have to learn so many new skills to make the boxes. So many.  Right now I am learning how to sculpt in plaster, as the figures in the boxes will be made, at first, of plaster.  Last Thursday was my first day of experimenting with plaster.  Mostly applying wet plaster over a structure of wire screen.  Didn't get too fancy, just let the screen do what it wanted.  Just kept the plaster portion simple.
